The Smith family is always one of my favorite to shoot! They play, laugh, and just enjoy one another, and that's my favorite way to capture memories! Here are some of the highlights from their session at Honeymoon Island State Park, 2 weeks ago! <3

**Brag** this lady has been one of my best friends for coming up on 20 years! I was so excited to have the honor of capturing her at her most feminine! We got to hang out at Fort de Soto on a Sunday evening in August, it was hot and muggy, but this mommy to be knocked it out of the park! Having her fiance Dave by her side made it all ok. He was so sweet and encouraging, and snuggled her every chance he got. I can't wait to see them holding their little man in their arms.
The most exciting chapter of my life is about to begin ~ e.HopePhotography ~ My Journey to become a Mamma
I used to be a kind of sad person... I put on a smile, but I lived a life truly believing I'd never meet "the one" or have a family to call my own. I actually took some drastic measures at 26 & had a tubal ligation procedure. Fast forward a decade, married to THE best man on the planet (guys he married meeee, he's a Saint I tell ya... and an overgrown 8 year old, but I digress) and we want to have a baby! I just completed my month of tests and rushed off to the doctor today to plan out our IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) cycle. I came away from the appointment with 3 things.
1. An order to lose 50 lbs ... FIFTY POUNDS... yep, needs to happen
2. I am the hormone QUEEN... guys, 95th percentile for my age, the AMH levels of a woman 10 years younger... and don't we all know it. Hormones = Emotions, and I have all of them. All.of.them.
3. I'm a self pay customer (even if my ah-mazing insurance did cover fertility treatments, I'd be excluded due to my elective procedure ten years ago) and so, you guessed it, 10-20k, and that's assuming we strike gold by the 2nd try.
At status quo, it will take a little while to achieve our dream, but guys, I'm going to be 37 in December (ouch) and I am READY to be a Mamma! We are two hard working folks who each work a full time, demanding day job in addition to running e.HopePhotography together in our "spare" time. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to work harder for what we want, and make our dreams of having a family of our own come true!
As we bust our buts literally and figuratively to make this happen, the only thing we ask for, is help in getting us out there. Share! Share our page, share our pictures, share this blog! This business is built primarily from word of mouth referrals.
I get all teary eyed when I think of our amazing clients, family and friends. The love, support and encouragement we've received over the last five years has been amazing and we are so looking forward to this next chapter! Thanks to each and every one of you reading this <3
I mean, where do you even start? A dear friend messages me and said, I want to do mermaid pictures for my daughter's 5th birthday! Um, sign.me.up. She ordered a fin off of Amazon and we scheduled their session for a Sunday evening with low tide at one of my favorite beaches that happens to have a bunch of rocks to use for propping up our mermaid. You can't go wrong with the beaches here in Pinellas County, but Redington is definitely a favorite of mine. I lucked out with not too big of a crowd, and overcast skies that helped us, as we were shooting a little earlier than ideal, for that low tide we needed. Here are my favorites from that session! I hope you enjoy them. I hope to do a lot more of these in the future!
Your wedding day should be one of the happiest days of your life. As a recently wed bride, I know first hand it's also, usually, the most expensive day of your life. The stress of planning a wedding and paying for it, can sometimes overshadow your big day, and I feel like the one thing you should come away with, no matter what, are amazing images that enable you to remember your day for ever.
Weddings are a ton of work for photographers, and so the cost of hiring an amazing photog to cover your entire day, is not cheap, and nor should it be. The thing is, not everyone has room in their budget for all day coverage, and not all couples, need or want all day coverage. It's the truth, and while it's contrary for me to admit, and maybe I'll get heat from other wedding photogs, but someone has to say it!
What happens when you can't afford all day coverage? Most often, you rush to cram as much into whatever time frame you can afford, which makes everyone feel rushed, and takes away from the happy and relaxed vibe you could be enjoying.
I'm now offering Wedding Minis - best used for first look/formals details and ceremony, which are the moments you truly want a professional photographer there to capture.

It's been just over 24 hours since Dani and Josh said I do. I'm excited to share some teasers from their big day! Stay tuned for more to come in the coming weeks! Please feel free to share comment!
I got to see a video of the estate where they'd be getting married about a month ago, and when I saw the TREE HOUSE I had a vision of Josh and his 7 groomsmen.. So we made it happen, and you know, Josh gave me a mini heart attack climbing out onto the tree....
I'm going to close out this post of teasers with two of the sexiest people in Tampa Bay, Mr. & Mrs. Neitz.
I was speaking with a potential client last night, who was referred to me after seeing some of my work. She's never had professional photos taken of her daughter, or herself and was interested. Something she said really caught my attention though, and so I thought I'd write about it!
She said there was no special occasion, and I told her she didn't need one! Just a desire to capture this moment in time, with custom art work that will last forever!
You see, I come from a family of shutterbugs. My childhood was captured on film and there are boxes and boxes of pictures in a closet at my Nana's house that I can dig through to relive my early years. When we lost my Papa a few years ago, it was the boxes of pictures that we immediately went to. We laughed, we cried, but most importantly, we remembered the amazing life he lived and how much time he spent loving us all.
Some people want to capture pictures for holiday cards, or to celebrate a family reunion or other milestone. Some couples and families want beautiful artwork to decorate their home with, and others just want there to be proof that this time existed, so that 50 years from now, they can look back, or their loved ones can look back and remember.
Time is fleeting, moves fast and makes no promise of a tomorrow. The only occasion you need is a desire to freeze time for an hour or two, and that's where I come in! Make now the right time, let me help you find the perfect outfit/s and lets make a plan to create something magical together!
Jenn and Shaun were high school sweethearts! I'm blessed to have known them both for more years than we'll mention, so naturally when they reached out to me to capture this special time in their lives, I was beyond excited! Jenn is just glowing, with only 5 weeks left to go and Shaun is a proud "soon to be daddy"! I'm so excited to meet their little one!
We spent our morning at Philippe Park, in Safety Harbor. It was a chilly winter morning for these Floridian's, but they were such champs!
